Kids building a better world!
Kids asked themselves "How can we make the world more fun?" The kids came to the conclusion that the world would be a better place if they could learn and have experiences according to their own free will. Based on this inspiration, a country where kids are the leading role was born!
The RightZ of Kids
In order to create a country where kids are the leading role, a set of rights needed to be established. The kids made a declaration of 6 RightZ: To Be, To Know, To Create, To Share, To Care and To Play.
Under the guidance of these 6 RightZ, kids pledged to create a better world and thus, KidZania was born!
The right "TO BE"
The power to be self-determining, unique and free in harmony among humankind.
The right "TO KNOW"
The capacity to be curious and experimental when educating oneself.
The right "TO CARE"
The responsibility to be supportive and proactive of the environment.
The right "TO PLAY"
The ability to be playful and participatory in life.
The right "TO SHARE"
The benefit to be generous and thoughtful to oneself and to others.
The right "TO CREATE"
The faculty to be innovational, to dream up new things.
Building a Better KidZania
KidZania CongreZZ was established to provide a means for KidZania to develop and evolve.
CongreZZ tests Activities, investigates and discusses problems, and develops new solutions and content. New CongreZZ members are elected each year!
The 4 Symbols of KidZania
The Meaning of KidZania
The name "KidZania" is made up of 3 words. The first word, "kid", comes from the German word for children. The second word, "ania", comes from the Latin word for country. The third word, "zany", comes from an English word that means fun and cool. These 3 words are put together to form KidZania, a Land of Kool Kids.
In the KidZania Flag, the color orange represents problems in society. The color red represents the belief that kids can solve these problems. The white letter "K" represents the pure spirit of kids around the world.
The Official Seal
This seal was used on the Declaration of Independence and has become an important symbol of KidZania. It represents KidZania's sovereignty and ideals, and if you look closely you can even see all 6 RightZ!
An Important Monument
Independence Fountain was built to commemorate KidZania's independence from the adult world and a replica of the Declaration of Independence displayed at it's center. Every KidZania around the world has an Independence Fountain!
The Music of KidZania
As you walk around the city, listen for the songs that convey the KidZania spirit!
- National Anthem
- The National Anthem of KidZania conveys the spirit of KidZania. It can be heard at the opening of a new KidZania, at special events and on anniversaries.
- KidZania Forever
- KidZania Forever kicks off every new day at KidZania along with the welcome dance.
- Farewell Song
- The Farewell Song closes each day and gives hope that we will meet again.
