KCJ GROUP INC (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") sets forth the following Terms of Use with respect to the services provided via the Internet regarding reservation for admission to the facility “KidZania” operated by the Company (such services hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). Only the customers who agree to these Terms of Use may use the Services.
The Company may amend these Terms of Use from time to time to a reasonable extent and in a reasonable way without obtaining prior consent of customers. In case of any changes in important matters related to the rights and obligations of customers, the Company shall announce the effective date and contents of the revised Terms of Use after such changes by posting on the official website of the Company or any other appropriate measures with a reasonable period prior to the effective date of such changes. However, minor amendments may be implemented on the same day as the amendment is decided.
Article 1 (Services)
You are able to make reservations for admission to KidZania by completing the prescribed procedures in accordance with these Terms of Use on the Internet site where the Services are provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Reservation Site”).
Article 2 (Conditions of Use)
- The Services cannot be used for any purpose other than making reservations for admission to KidZania
- The Services are available only for those customers who can properly operate and use computers and the Internet at their own judgment and responsibility, and only when using a computer with appropriate settings such as Japanese display and e-mail. If the Services cannot be used properly due to the reasons attributable to the customers’ devices, networks, software, or service providers which are beyond the control of the Company, the Company shall not be held liable for it.
- The Company may make changes in or suspend the system, or take other measures related to the Services as necessary without prior notice. In such cases, the Company shall not be held liable for any damage incurred by such measures.
- The Company shall not be liable for any problem that may occur if you, while using the Services, suspend or terminate your browser for a long time, stop your computer, or disconnect your network.
- In the Services, the Company may connect to sites and servers operated by entities other than the Company as it regards necessary.
- The Company shall use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for any part related to payment procedures, etc. during the Services as it regards necessary.
Article 3 (Reservation and Admittance)
- Those who wish to make reservations are requested to follow the flow of the Reservation Site and enter the prescribed items, and then pay the prescribed admission fee with the designated credit cards (one-time payment only). Please beware that reservations may not be processed if there are omissions, garbled characters, false entries, etc.
- We kindly request you to understand that reservations in accordance with your wish may not be made due to the admission capacity on the desired reservation date and time slot.
- Customers are to use KidZania in accordance with the Terms of Use of the KidZania Facilities prescribed by the Company. Those Terms of Use are displayed on the specified page of the Reservation Site. At your admission to the facilities, we may, upon our discretion, request you to verify your personal identification .
Article 4 (Change to Activities, Events, etc.)
Activities, events, stores of goods, restaurants, etc. for the day reserved through the Services may be changed, postponed, or canceled without prior notice.
In such cases, the admission fee shall not be refunded except when KidZania is closed as a whole.
Article 5 (Prohibited Acts)
- You may not resell your qualification for admission to KidZania obtained by using this site to a third party, whether for profit or not. Reselling includes attempts to resell (such as listing on internet flea market sites, auction sites, etc.).
- In using the Services, you must not do any of the following:
- impersonating other persons or using a false address, name, etc.;
- acts that violate or may violate the laws and regulations;
- using the Services for profit purposes;
- using or disseminating harmful programs such as computer viruses or
- any other acts that impair the smooth operation of the Services or KidZania.
- In cases we determine that you have violated this article, we may decline your admission and use of the Services.
In such cases, the fees already paid shall not be refunded.
Article 6 (Change of Reservation, etc.)
- After completion of the reservation, you can change the reservation date and time, change the reservation plan, add or reduce the number of guests, or cancel the reservation. Procedures for such acts may be done by 11:55 p.m. of the preceding day of the date of admittance. Cancellation and/or change on the day is not accepted. However, if the local transportation network is interrupted due to weather or accidents on the day of admission, or if you or accompanying person is unable to visit due to unavoidable circumstances such as an infectious disease, please contact the KidZania Information Center by 12:00 on the day of admission.
- Decrease in the reserved number of visitors, cancellation, and change of the reserved date and time shall be handled as follows:
- in case of a decrease in the reserved number of visitors and cancellation, the admission fee will be refunded via the credit card company used at the time of purchase and
- in case of a change of the reserved date and time, fee for admission after such change will be withdrawn with your credit card.
The admission fee before such change will be refunded via the credit card company used at the time of purchase.
Depending on the procedures of your credit card company, the timing of billing and refund may be reversed.
Article 7 (ID and Password Management)
- You are to properly manage your ID and password used in the Services on your own responsibility.
- You must not let third parties use your ID and password, lend them, assign them or be assigned, or register them under a false name.
- We will verify customers’ identity with the ID and password entered. If we confirm that the entered ID and password are consistent with the registration, we shall deem that the customer himself/herself is using the Services.
- You are fully responsible for damages caused by insufficient management of the ID and password, their erroneous use, use by a third party, etc., and we will not be held responsible what so ever.
- If you have come to know that your ID and password have been stolen, disclosed, or used by a third party, you must immediately notify us, and follow our instructions if any.
Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)
Matters related to handling of personal information are as described in the ” Privacy Policy” on the official home page of KidZania.
Article 9 (Agreed Jurisdiction)
In case of disputes between you and the Company regarding the Services, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as a court of first instance.
Article 10 (Implementation Date)
These Terms of Use shall come into effect at midnight of May 19, 2015.
